To confirm the booking, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required for DJ services. In the event of a cancellation by the client, the deposit will be retained by Sydney Events Group as compensation, regardless of the reason for cancellation. If the event is cancelled due to COVID-19 restrictions imposed by the NSW government, the client will be issued a credit of equal value, valid for 6 months from the date of the restriction. Availability must be confirmed before rescheduling. The event date may be changed with a minimum of three months' notice. If less notice is given, a new deposit will be required for the new date, subject to availability. If the event is cancelled for any reason (e.g., power outage, guests not showing up), the DJ must be paid in full. Full payment must be made no later than one day prior to the event. The client is responsible for any damage to the DJ equipment at the designated location (e.g., spilled beverages, electrical short-circuits caused by power fluctuations, etc.). The DJ must be placed next to the dance floor. It is the client's responsibility to arrange a suitable spot for the DJ. The DJ cannot be set up at the back of the venue or behind guest tables, even if the venue has a dedicated DJ booth in that location. The DJ reserves the right to refuse setup if the location is not appropriate. All DJ setups and booths will display DJ Allen’s name or logo. If you prefer not to include this, please inform Sydney Events Group prior to signing the contract. The client is responsible for providing a meal for the DJ at the reception. If a meal is not provided, an additional charge of $50 and a 30-minute break will be applied. DJ Allen shall have full autonomy over the music selection during the Event(s), ensuring the music aligns with the desired mood and atmosphere. However, DJ Allen will refrain from playing songs by any artist who has a concert scheduled during the Event or at any time during the Event's duration, unless specifically requested by the Event organizers. This flexibility allows DJ Allen to curate a playlist that complements the event’s theme and enhances the overall experience for attendees. As the DJ is traveling from another city, the Organizer or MC must introduce DJ Allen and present them appropriately to the guests during the event. This ensures that DJ Allen's role is acknowledged and appreciated by all attendees. The Organizer agrees to promote DJ Allen on relevant social media platforms, posters, banners, or any other materials associated with the Event(s), where applicable. The Organizer shall provide the DJ equipment as requested by DJ Allen. This includes Pioneer CDJ 2000 Nexus or a higher-level model, DJM 900 mixer or higher, or an all-in-one DJ system such as the XDJ XZ. (For bookings that only include DJ services, the Organizer is responsible for supplying the necessary equipment.) The DJ reserves the right to refuse to perform if the equipment provided does not meet the DJ's needs or is unsuitable for the performance. All graphic and video advertisements related to events and ceremonies featuring DJ Allen must be submitted to our marketing team for approval before publication. This includes posters, online banners, and promotional videos. Low-quality or unprofessional publications, as well as those that do not adhere to our work standards and contractual obligations, will not be approved for sharing through official channels. The Organizer shall provide two (2) tickets for DJ Allen's guests to attend each Event in each state, if required.
